Paul Cozzi III of Cozzi Jewelers helped Samantha “Sammi Sweetheart” Giancola’s sparkler dreams come true.

The news of Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola’s engagement rang all over Instagram during the first week in March. But if you happen to spot the star from MTV’s “Jersey Shore” around the Main Line, that is because her fiancé Christian Biscardi went to none other than Paul Cozzi III of Cozzi Jewelers in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania to help him design the brilliant bauble.

Cozzi says that Biscardi actually reached out to him via Instagram. “He sent me a message in November (2018) and said that he took a look at my page and that he wanted to talk.”

Biscardi told Cozzi what styles he and Giancola liked and with that information, Cozzi found 15 stones that his dad helped him narrow down to the five best.

“He knew she liked princess cut, but he also wanted to make sure it was perfect and the mounting complemented her hand and the stones,” says Cozzi.

It took Cozzi approximately six weeks to make the ring and he says when Biscardi came to pick it up, he absolutely loved it. He proposed in Florida just days later.

“The total weight is just about 4 carats. The stones are all G color, with VS2 clarity set in platinum,” says Cozzi (G diamonds are nearly colorless and stones with VS2 clarity are very slightly included).

Biscardi and Giancola actually live in South Jersey so it isn’t difficult for the couple to pop in to Cozzi Jewelers for a cleaning or a size adjustment. In fact, the couple paid a visit to the jeweler just two weeks after the engagement.

Giancola posted two ring selfies on Instagram after Biscardi popped the question, saying, “Everyone has been asking, so here it is! Custom work done by Cozzi Jewelers” and “Still feels surreal.”

Congratulations to the happy couple!
