WT: What trends are forecast for 2026?
SG: Brides and bridesmaids are asking for more of a natural look—a bronze glow or just a dewy face. Shimmer on the eyes is also popular.
KS: Classic styles are coming back, but there’s a new version of “classic” that’s not so harsh or fixed—it’s a little softer, more romantic, and lived in. Think a messy French twist or, if they’re wearing their hair down, big, soft finger waves.
How can brides choose a style that suits their hair type?
KS: Thin, straight hair, as well as hair that is super long and heavy, works best in an updo, at least partially. Curly-haired gals should embrace their natural look but define curls a bit more. On your special day, you should look like yourself—but enhanced and a little more finished.
What’s the best way to achieve a look that’s timeless and reflects personal style?
SG: Bring your makeup artist and hair stylist an inspiration picture during the consultation so that they can see exactly what you want. If you’re not someone who typically wears a lot of makeup, then it might be best to go for a more natural look.
KS: It’s all about being comfortable. When you come in for your trial, try different styles and decide what makes you feel your best. We’ll photograph it, and then on the day of, we’ll perfect that look even more.
Should I go to the salon or bring the salon to me?
SG: Many times, brides want us to go to the venue. However, you should consider the layout of the venue. Does it have the right chairs or lighting? We can’t bring the whole salon, so it can be challenging to make it work. We love having bridal parties come into the salon—everybody’s happy and excited, and we like to celebrate with them.
