The trendy mother of the bride is wearing a long lace gown in a color matching the bridal party. Moms want to look youthful on their daughter’s special day, so neutral colors look best. How fancy they dress will be depends on the time of the wedding. An evening wedding calls for an elegant gown and accessories, for example. But don’t overindulge on accessories. A necklace and pair of earrings will usually do. And be sure and choose a comfortable pair of heels, nothing higher than 3 inches. Remember, you plan on dancing until the end.
