Want more behind-the-scenes footage on your big day? Hire a content creator.
In the age of social media, an instant return on investment is key to satisfaction. Now, within 24 hours of saying “I do,” couples can browse a comprehensive gallery of their wedding photos and videos, thanks to professional content-creation services.
Wedding content creators capture behind-the-scenes perspectives, provide minimal editing on the final product, and help curate social media posts. They shoot with the best smartphone cameras and often use a gimbal or stabilizer for smoother-than-average videos. But these creators aren’t meant to replace professional photographers and videographers.
“I allow [photographers and videographers] to take the lead, and then I follow slightly behind them,” says Andrea Brown, a wedding content creator based in Philadelphia. “My angle is less posed—[unless the couple] wants a specific trend for TikTok or Instagram.”
Brown shares organized media folders next-day, so the couple, bridal party, and family members won’t feel the need to capture ready-to-post footage. She also posts on her own social media in a way that’s easily shareable by her clients. “I give them clips, and I create [Instagram] stories for them, so they repost to their stories,” she explains.
After struggling to find a local content creator for her own wedding in 2023, San Le created her business, Vivid Moments with San. She now works with couples and vendors at proposals, elopements, and any wedding-related celebration.
“Think of very candid content—you know, blooper reels. It’s a similar vibe,” says Le, also based in Philly. “I’m constantly observing friends and family of the couple, [as well as] those things that the photographer and their second [photographer] or the videographer and their second [videographer] are not necessarily focusing on.”
Prices typically range from $750 to $3,500.
