I’ve never been more terrified to work on an issue of Delaware Bride. Why, you ask? I had already bought my dress. Most brides aren’t forced to look at 50 gorgeous gowns. (I have to do it one more time before my wedding—eek!—and watch models strut around in what I think might be the “other” gown.) But I just had to keep reminding myself how I felt in the gown I’d already bought. I was a skeptic when I went to try on gowns. Everyone kept telling me that I would just know which dress was the one. All I knew is that I wanted a simple sweetheart neckline gown with no frill and fluff. Well, that’s not exactly what I got. In fact, it’s far from it. But I did know. I put it on and instantly knew it was the one because I didn’t want to take it off and I didn’t want to try on any others.
